i recently received a letter from someone i know who has faced hard times. i too am speechless and blown away. my respect and admiration for you has grown ten fold. god bless you. the letter is pasted below. A few years ago I told you about OG Abel.I remember this because you had quite a few friends in common with him.I've supported his art since day one,before his stuff hit the malls and I still do.This year for Christmas his crew went out of the way to see to it that my 2 kids had a nice holiday.I got two big pkgs in the mail filled with presents for Madison and Mason.OG Abel autographed a case of drawing pencils for my daughter and gave her a nice fresh tablet amongst other things they needed.This was their first Christmas without their Dad.After he passed away my daughter liked to fall asleep with a OG Abel shirt because it smelled like her Daddy.Most girls her age sleep with a dolly.I'll never forget one day we saw a tattooed guy at the mall with an OG shirt on and my son who is only 3 couldn't understand why it wasn't who he expected.I've worked a lot with my daughter using art to help deal with all the emotional stuff.I have seen so much pain and sadness from her drawings.I've been focusing on happier mediums with her lately,it helps her a lot.For him and his crew to look out for the kids is such an awesome thing.I need for them to remember the things that their Dad loved in life.They're too little to do it on their own.I haven't sent my thank you to him yet.I was sort of in shock and a bit speechless to be honest.I haven't told but a handful of people what a nice thing he did.I'm telling you this because I thought you would appreciate knowing this.Maybe you know him personally,I don't know,and it doesn't matter anyways but if you get a chance look into some of his stuff.He just earned a lot more respect from me.So that's my story kid.I hope this letter finds you well.Take care.
